Questions About Our wheelchair taxi suburbs Melbourne Wide

What if my suburb is not listed?

Call us on 0432 712 248. The list here is not exhaustive and we can usually help.

Do you charge more for outer suburbs?

Fares depend on distance and time as with any metered trip. Ask for a fixed quote when you book, especially for airport runs.

Can NDIS participants book in any of these areas?

Yes. We carry NDIS participants who self-manage or plan-manage their transport funding across every area we service.

Can I get the same driver each time?

Where possible, yes. Mention it when you book and we will do our best to arrange it.

What stays the same wherever you are

The suburb changes what the trip looks like. It does not change how it works. Every vehicle carries a ramp or a hoist, and the driver sets it up before the passenger moves.

Manual chairs, powered chairs and mobility scooters are all secured inside. Nobody is lifted out of their chair unless they would rather sit in a passenger seat.

Fifteen minutes of wait time applies at pickup and drop-off, in every area we cover.

Booking from any of these areas

Wherever the trip starts, we need the same things: the passenger’s name, a number someone will answer, and what equipment is travelling.

If you sit just outside the areas listed here, call anyway. We regularly run longer trips to the airport and to hospital appointments from beyond the usual boundary.

Fares

Fares are metered under Victorian commercial passenger vehicle rules regardless of suburb. Distance and time set the price, as with any metered trip.

Ask for a fixed quote at booking if you would rather know the cost first, which is common on airport runs from the outer suburbs.
