Another good quality we have is Fast Pickups. Our drivers understand customers don’t like waiting and most certainly they don’t like waiting when they are only going to shops not far away. Our drivers dont waste any time in picking up customers and ensures pickups are fast and smooth.

Fast pickups matter most on short trips: a run to the local shopping centre, a pharmacy visit, or a quick trip to see a neighbour or family member nearby. These are the bookings that feel most wasteful if the wait drags on, because the trip itself might only take ten minutes. We treat a five minute drive with the same punctuality as a longer booking to a hospital or the airport.

Part of how we keep pickups fast is dispatching from the nearest available vehicle in your suburb rather than routing every booking through one central depot. Drivers covering Berwick, Cranbourne, Narre Warren, Hampton Park, Endeavour Hills, Hallam, Doveton, Beaconsfield, Clyde, Botanic Ridge, Devon Meadows, Pearcedale, Tooradin, Lynbrook, Lyndhurst, Junction Village, Clayton South, Eumemmerring, and Harkaway know their local streets, which cuts down the time spent finding an address, particularly on newer estates where GPS mapping sometimes lags behind actual street layouts. See the full list of areas we cover on our suburb coverage page.

Fast doesn’t mean skipping steps. Even on a short local run, the driver still checks the wheelchair restraints and confirms where you’re being dropped, whether that’s the main entrance or a specific accessible entry point at the shops. A quick trip is only worth it if you get where you’re going safely.

We also try to make the return trip just as fast. If you’re heading to the shops or an appointment and need a pickup for the way home, let us know your expected finish time when you book the first leg, and we’ll aim to have a vehicle ready rather than starting the booking process from scratch once you call again.

Short local trips are also where NDIS and Multi Purpose Taxi Program bookings come up most often, whether that’s a weekly grocery run or a regular visit to a support worker nearby. If you’re using plan-managed or self-managed NDIS funding, or an MPTP card, mention it when you call so it’s sorted before the driver arrives rather than at the door.
